Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  • Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the turkey mixture to a slow cooker.
