Bolo de Banana Caramelizada

This delicious cake is made with ripe bananas and a sweet caramel sauce. It's perfect for dessert or as a snack with coffee or tea.

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Peel and mash the bananas in a bowl.
- In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns into a caramel.
- Add the butter to the caramel and stir until it melts.
- Pour the caramel mixture into the bowl with the mashed bananas and mix well.
- Add the eggs and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
