Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, and topping with lettuce, tomato, and onion slices.
