Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Whipped cream for serving

Directions

  1. 1

Melt white chocolate chips with 1/4 cup heavy cream in the microwave, stirring until smooth.

  2. 2

Melt dark chocolate chips with the remaining 1/4 cup heavy cream in the microwave, stirring until smooth.

  3. 3

Melt butter in a saucepan, then stir in vanilla extract and salt.

  4. 4

Layer half the white chocolate mixture into a greased 8x8-inch pan and spread evenly.

  5. 5

Sprinkle half the crushed cookies and nuts over the white chocolate.

  6. 6

Spread the dark chocolate mixture over the cookie layer and sprinkle remaining cookies and nuts.

  7. 7

Top with remaining white chocolate mixture and spread evenly.

  8. 8

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set. Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream.

Chef's tip

For a nut-free version, omit the chopped nuts. Ensure the chocolate is melted smoothly to create even layers.
