- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped tomato
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 cup water
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add the chopped spinach, onion, tomato, and cilantro to the bowl and mix well.
- Add the oil and mix again.
- Slowly add the water to the bowl, mixing as you go, until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into 8-10 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a round disc, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and place one disc in the pan.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat with the remaining discs.
- Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
