- 1 cup watermelon, diced
- 1 cup Korea melon, diced
- 1 cup rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, chopped nuts, honey
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 2. In a large pot, combine the rice and water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- 3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and soft.
- 4. In a separate pot, add the diced watermelon and Korea melon. Cook over medium heat until the fruits are soft and mushy, about 10 minutes.

- 10. Serve the porridge warm, topped with sesame seeds, chopped nuts, and a drizzle of honey, if desired.
