  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 fresh baguettes
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup pickled carrots and daikon
  • 1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 jalapeno, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce

Directions

  1. 1

Mix soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, and brown sugar in a bowl.

  2. 2

Marinate chicken breasts in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

Grill the marinated chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through.

  5. 5

Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.

  6. 6

Slice baguettes in half and spread mayonnaise on each side.

  7. 7

Layer pickled vegetables, cucumber, cilantro, mint, and jalapenos at the base.

  8. 8

Place sliced chicken on the vegetables and drizzle with sriracha sauce.

  9. 9

Close the baguettes, gently pressing them to enhance flavors.

Chef's tip

Ensure chicken is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F. Adjust spice level by modifying jalapenos and sriracha.
