Ingredients

  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  • Add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add cubed paneer and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Add heavy cream and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
