- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 cup lentils
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups water
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice and lentils under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 2. In a large pot, heat the ghee over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
