Ingredients
- 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
- 2. Add the quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- 3. Form the mixture into patties and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- 5. Serve the patties on buns with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
