Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup black beans, mashed
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, mashed black beans, diced onion, diced bell pepper, grated carrot, nutritional yeast, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the vegan rice patties hot with your favorite toppings or condiments.
