Ingredients

  • 1 block of tofu
  • 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of diced vegetables (such as bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms)

Instructions

  • 1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
  • 2. In a bowl, crumble the tofu into small pieces.
  • 3. Add the nutritional yeast, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well to combine.
  • 4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • 5. Add the diced vegetables to the skillet and cook until they are tender.
  • 6. Add the tofu mixture to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tofu is heated through and slightly crispy.
  • 7. Serve the vegan Rhrei hot and enjoy!
