Ingredients

  • 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup of chopped mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • 2. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher.
  • 3. Add the quinoa, oats, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well.
