- 4 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup vegan cheese curds
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and scrub the potatoes, then cut them into fries.
- In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the fries are golden and crispy.
- While the fries are baking, prepare the vegan gravy. In a small saucepan, whisk together vegetable broth, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
