Ingredients
- 1 package of vegan chicken substitute
- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1 cup of cooked rice
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the vegetable broth, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to combine.
- Add the vegan chicken substitute to the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the marinated vegan chicken substitute to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until heated through.
- Add the diced bell pepper, sliced mushrooms, and frozen peas to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Serve the vegan chicken delight over cooked rice. Enjoy!
