These vegan sliders are made with jackfruit, a fruit that has a meaty texture when cooked, and smothered in a tangy BBQ sauce. Perfect for a summer BBQ or a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 can of jackfruit
 - 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
 - 1/4 cup of vegetable broth
 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
 - 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
 - 1/4 teaspoon of salt
 - 8 slider buns
 - Optional toppings: sliced red onion, pickles, coleslaw
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
 - Drain and rinse the jackfruit. Cut off the hard core and shred the jackfruit with a fork.
 - In a saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce, vegetable broth, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Bring to a simmer.
 - Add the shredded jackfruit to the saucepan and stir to coat the jackfruit in the sauce.
 - Transfer the jackfruit and sauce to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the jackfruit is tender and the sauce is bubbly.
 - Toast the slider buns in the oven for the last 5 minutes of baking.
 - Assemble the sliders with the jackfruit and optional toppings.
 - Serve and enjoy!
