Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the turmeric powder, grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the turmeric ginger chicken stirfry hot with steamed rice or noodles.
