Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the turmeric powder, grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  • Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
