Ingredients
- 2 pounds of ripe tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. Cut the tomatoes in half and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- 3. Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 4. Roast the tomatoes in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly charred.
