Ingredients

  • 200g tofu, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fried shallots
  • 2 tablespoons peanuts, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté the shredded cabbage, bean sprouts, and julienned carrot for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the fried tofu cubes back into the pan and mix well.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the sweet soy sauce and tamarind juice. Pour the sauce over the tofu and vegetables in the pan.
  • Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.
  • Garnish with sliced cucumber, fried shallots, and crushed peanuts.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
