  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and powdered sugar. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.

  • Pour the mixture over the hot crust and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until set.
