Ingredients
- 1 head of broccoli
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Cut the broccoli into florets and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Place the broccoli florets in a steamer basket.
- 3. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- 4. Once the water is boiling, place the steamer basket with the broccoli on top of the pot.
- 5. Cover the pot with a lid and steam the broccoli for about 5-7 minutes, or until it is tender.
- 6. While the broccoli is steaming, heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 7. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté it for about 1-2 minutes, or until it becomes fragrant.
- 8. Remove the steamed broccoli from the pot and transfer it to the pan with the garlic.
- 9. Season the broccoli with salt and pepper to taste.
- 10. Toss the broccoli in the pan for a minute or two, making sure it is evenly coated with the garlic and oil.
- 11. Remove the pan from the heat and serve the steamed broccoli delight immediately.
