Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  • Add onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Saute until onions are translucent.
