Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 ounces linguine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Directions

    Boil linguine in salted water until just al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.

    Toss the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning and olive oil.

    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and shrimp; cook until shrimp are pink. Remove and set aside.
