Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef tenderloin, finely chopped
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp. capers, drained and finely chopped
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the beef, shallot, capers, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, parsley, and chives. Mix well to combine.
- Season the mixture with salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Serve the steak tartare immediately, garnished with additional chopped herbs, if desired.
