Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • 2. Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions and shape into patties.
  • 3. Season patties with salt and pepper.
  • 4. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
  • 5. Grill patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  • 6. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
  • 7. Toast hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly browned.

  • 10. Top with a cooked patty, 2 slices of bacon, tomato slices, red onion slices, and lettuce.
