- 1 lb. beef or chicken, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint, chopped
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 4 saj breads
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the beef or chicken, onion, bell peppers, tomato, parsley, mint, tahini, yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the meat mixture and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is browned and cooked through.
- Warm the saj breads in the oven or on a griddle.
- Divide the meat mixture evenly among the saj breads. Roll up the breads tightly and serve immediately.
