- 1 box white cake mix
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherry juice
- 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
- 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, maraschino cherry juice, lemon-lime soda, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in chopped maraschino cherries.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
