Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherry juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, maraschino cherry juice, lemon-lime soda, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  • Fold in chopped maraschino cherries.
