Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Stir in frozen peas and carrots, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes over the top and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the potatoes are golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
