Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, pressing it gently into the flesh.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the salmon is baking, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  • Using a fork, flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
  • To assemble the tacos, place a spoonful of the flaked salmon onto each tortilla.
  • Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, sour cream, and salsa.
  • Squeeze a wedge of lime over each taco.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
