Ingredients
- 1 block of paneer, cubed
- 2 tablespoons ghee or butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the ghee or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.
- Add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper and cook for another minute.
- Add the diced tomatoes and their juices and bring to a simmer.
- Add the paneer and cook for 5-7 minutes, until heated through.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
