- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 3/4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
