Ingredients
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 block of firm tofu
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- While the rice is cooking, drain the tofu and cut it into small cubes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and toss to coat.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the tofu cubes.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tofu is crispy and golden brown.
- Once the rice is done, fluff it with a fork and add the chopped green onions.
- Serve the rice in bowls and top with the crispy tofu cubes.
