Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sesame oil and sauté the garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) for about 1 minute.
  • Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the cooked rice.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and stir everything together until well combined.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
