Ingredients

  • 1 red capsicum, sliced
  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced red capsicum and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until slightly softened.
  • Add the cubed tofu and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until lightly browned.
  • Pour the soy sauce mixture over the tofu and capsicum, and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and coated the vegetables and tofu.
