Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the protein powder, whole wheat flour, honey, Greek yogurt, almond milk, vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
- If desired, fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
