About this recipe

Experience a fiesta of flavors with these Pork Fiesta Tacos, featuring tender pork seasoned with a modern blend of spices. Perfectly paired with fresh toppings and a zesty lime crema, these tacos are ideal for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  1. 1

Mix chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

Wrap tortillas in foil and warm in the oven for 5 minutes at 350°F.

  4. 4

Combine sour cream, lime juice, and salt in a small bowl to make lime crema.

  5. 5

Assemble tacos by placing pork on tortillas, topping with tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and queso fresco.

  6. 6

Add a dollop of lime crema before serving.

Chef's tip

Be sure not to overcook the pork to keep it tender and juicy. Adjust lime crema for added zest.
