Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork shoulder, cut into cubes
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
- Place the pork cubes in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the pork cubes from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
- Thread the pork cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Grill the pork skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the pork BBQ skewers hot with steamed rice and your favorite dipping sauce.
