Ingredients
- 2 cups poha (flattened rice)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 potato, boiled and diced
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- A handful of curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the poha in a colander under running water and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
- Add chopped onions, green chilies, and sauté until onions turn translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, boiled potatoes, green peas, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the rinsed poha and gently mix everything together.
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
