Ingredients

  • 2 cups poha (flattened rice)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 potato, boiled and diced
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • A handful of curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Rinse the poha in a colander under running water and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • Add chopped onions, green chilies, and sauté until onions turn translucent.
  • Add turmeric powder, boiled potatoes, green peas, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the rinsed poha and gently mix everything together.
  • Cover and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
