Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season flank steak with salt and pepper.
  • Grill steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  • Remove steak from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the top of the steak.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese, black olives, green bell pepper, and red onion over the pizza sauce.
  • Return steak to the grill and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • While the steak is cooking, toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Grill asparagus for 3-4 minutes per side, or until tender and lightly charred.
  • Slice steak against the grain and serve with grilled asparagus.
