Ingredients
- 1 lb. spaghetti noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, brown sugar, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve sauce over cooked spaghetti noodles. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
