Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of prepared pesto sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, pesto sauce, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of the cheese mixture.
  • Spread another layer of the cheese mixture on top of the noodles.
  • Repeat the layers until all the noodles and cheese mixture are used, ending with a layer of cheese mixture on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving.
