- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups of ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of prepared pesto sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, pesto sauce, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of the cheese mixture.
- Spread another layer of the cheese mixture on top of the noodles.
- Repeat the layers until all the noodles and cheese mixture are used, ending with a layer of cheese mixture on top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
