About this recipe

Experience the delightful crunch and savory taste of homemade thin crust pepperoni pizza. This easy-to-make recipe brings together crispy crust, bubbling cheese, and spicy pepperoni for a delicious meal that's perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made thin pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup no-cook tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) and place a baking steel or pizza stone inside to heat.

  2. 2

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. 3

Carefully transfer the dough to a pizza peel dusted with semolina flour.

  4. 4

Spread a light layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a 1/4-inch border.

  5. 5

Add half of the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and remaining cheese.

  6. 6

Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, dried basil, and Parmesan over the top.

  7. 7

Transfer the pizza onto the preheated baking steel and bake for 10-12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.

  8. 8

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve hot.

Chef's tip

For best results, use a baking steel for an evenly baked crust. Adjust the red pepper flakes according to your spice preference.
