Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place the peach halves in a baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir until well mixed.
  • Spoon the brown sugar mixture over the peach halves, making sure to coat them evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, cold butter cubes, rolled oats, and salt. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the peaches in the baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
  • Enjoy!
