Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 cup cauliflower florets, boiled and mashed
- 1 cup green peas, boiled and mashed
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 large tomato, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons pav bhaji masala
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt, to taste
- Water, as needed
Instructions
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
- Add the chopped bell peppers and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well.
- Add the mashed potatoes, cauliflower, and green peas. Mix well.
- Add water as needed to adjust the consistency of the mixture.
- Add salt to taste and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve hot with buttered bread rolls.
