Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup cauliflower florets, boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup green peas, boiled and mashed
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons pav bhaji masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Water, as needed

Instructions

  • In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  • Add the chopped bell peppers and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add the pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well.
  • Add the mashed potatoes, cauliflower, and green peas. Mix well.
  • Add water as needed to adjust the consistency of the mixture.
  • Add salt to taste and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with buttered bread rolls.
