Ingredients

  • 1 pound of pasta
  • 2 cups of marinara sauce
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup of chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the marinara sauce, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a greased 9-inch springform pan, layer the cooked pasta, marinara sauce mixture, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
  • Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the pasta cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before removing it from the pan.
  • Slice the pasta cake into wedges and serve warm. Enjoy!
