  • 200 grams paneer
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  • 1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  • 2. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  • 3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • 4. Add the finely chopped tomato and cook until it turns mushy.
  • 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • 6. Add the finely chopped green bell pepper and cook for a few minutes.
  • 7. Cut the paneer into cubes and add it to the pan. Mix gently.
  • 8. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 9. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  • 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • 11. Serve hot with roti or rice.
