- 200 grams paneer
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions
- 1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- 2. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- 4. Add the finely chopped tomato and cook until it turns mushy.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- 6. Add the finely chopped green bell pepper and cook for a few minutes.
- 7. Cut the paneer into cubes and add it to the pan. Mix gently.
- 8. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 9. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
- 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- 11. Serve hot with roti or rice.
