- 4 slices of fresh crusty bread
- 6 ounces of mortadella, thinly sliced
- 4 leaves of butter lettuce
- 1 heirloom tomato, sliced
- 3 tablespoons pesto
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
