Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped spinach
  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute. Then add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  • Add turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Then add paneer cubes and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or roti.
