Ingredients
- 1 kg mutton
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- 1. In a pressure cooker, heat some oil and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- 2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
- 3. Add the mutton pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- 4. Add the tomato puree, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- 5. Add water as needed and pressure cook until the mutton is tender.
- 6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
