Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic; cook until tender.
  • Add chicken breasts to skillet and cook until browned on both sides.
  • Sprinkle flour, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and paprika over chicken and mushrooms. Stir to coat.
  • Add white wine and chicken broth to skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Transfer chicken and mushroom mixture to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
